Journalists Day in Cetinje

Journalists Day in Cetinje. The acknowledgments were handed to the following journalists:

Awards of the Association of Montenegrin Journalists were handed on the occasion of the

Slađana Radonjić, from Pobjeda, received the award for the best young journalist; CEO of Public Service, Rade Vojvodić, received a special acknowledgement for the improvement of development and work of this media provider, while Nevenka Jovović, from Television Crna Gora, was given the award for best journalist reports.

Acknowledgments for the contribution and development of journalism, provided by the Association on the occasion of Journalist Day, were also given to Murat Ćorović from Bijelo Polje, Ljiljana Filimanović from Nikšić, Slobodan Racković and Milorad Bošković from Podgorica, and Predrag Sekulić from Cetinje and “Prosvjetni rad”. Award for the life work was not given.

The awards were decided upon by the selection committee composed of Draško Došljak, Čedo Vukotić and Branko Vujisić .The awards were handed at the ceremony organized in the National Library “Đurđe Crnojević” in Cetinje, by the Association of Montenegrin Journalists and the Association of Journalists from Cetinje.

Instead of the traditional “5 journalist minutes” there was the Homage to Milan Dugo Krivokapić, prepared by Dragan Mitov Đurović and Miro Nikolić.

Within the ceremony of celebrating the Journalists Day, visitors had an opportunity to see the exhibition “Word, Image and Enemy” in the hall of the Library.
