Project was initiated by Union of Discographers of Serbia in order to raise the awareness of the governmental institutions, judiciary and general public on the importance of proper regulatory framework in the area of intellectual rights protection. In the negotiations process with EU, chapter 7- Intellectual Property Rights - is one of the crucial ones for Serbia, as the European Commission Report states that laws are not in alignment with EU practice. Public Policy Institute will implement an awareness-raising campaign and advocacy activities concerning the promotion of intellectual rights and adoption of new set of laws. By promoting public dialogue and constructive solutions, PPI contributes in making this subject more familiar to both decision makers and citizens. |
