Public Policy Institute, in cooperation with Montenegrin American Youth Alumni Association, will organize the first NATO Youth Model of Montenegro, which will be held from 6th to 8th December 2013 in Podgorica, and it will gather 28 young delegates "ambassadors" and 2 young journalists from Montenegrin universities. During those days they will have the task to simulate the meeting of North Atlantic Council, with the main topic "Montenegro as a guarantee of stability in Western Balkans region” and find themselves in the shoes of the representatives from all the NATO’ member states, enthusiastically working towards achieving peace and stability in the world. Within its working sessions and briefings, YMNACM will involve high-level officials and renowned academics, in order to make the simulation more accurate and resembling to the reality. The added value to the project comes not only from the experts’ participation, but from the students themselves. This YMNACM will be a more simplified version compared to the established Brussels NATO Youth Summit, but it will be a significant international experience for youth in Montenegro, since it will put them on a list with their peers from all over the world who participated in an important event like this one. |
