Vladimir Popović graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University in Belgrade. In the late '80s, he became the first CEO of the multinational chain of advertising agencies Ogilvy & Mather for the territory of Yugoslavia. With the introduction of the multi-party system in Serbia, Vladimir Popović took up an active role in the political life of Serbia’s opposition, creating marketing campaigns for the majority of the opposition parties of the time. In 1994, he started an ongoing cooperation with the Democratic Party and its President, Zoran Đinđić. Popović was the manager of all election campaigns the DS (Democratic Party) took part in, including opposition coalitions, like the coalition Together (Zajedno), Alliance for change (Savez za promene), etc. He was the director of the election campaign of the coalition DOS. After the democratic changes, Popović entered the Government and participated in the forming of the Prime Minister’s cabinet, subsequently taking over the tasks of establishing and running of the Bureau for Communications of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. He remained in this position till mid-2003 when he left the Government and went back to the advertising business and to running his own company. From 2004 onwards, he continued to actively help the civil sector in Serbia. He took part in numerous projects primarily with OCD Yucom from Belgrade and Biljana Kovačević Vučo. He actively provides services to civil parties in Serbia and takes part in the creating of new liberal and democratic movements and parties. Since 2005, he has been living and working in Vienna and London. He completed numerous specializations in political marketing, media and application of media strategies, state administration.
Born in 1978 in Belgrade. Graduated in 2005 from Faculty of Philosophy, Department for Classical Studies, University of Belgrade. Worked as a translator and teacher of Latin and Greek. Founder of Consulting and Education Agency “Liberal Arts”.
Since the end of the '90s, she has been actively participating in the struggle for democracy, rule of law and protection of individual liberties. One of the founders of the Liberal Democratic Party, where she was in charge of founding and organizing the work of municipal and city boards. She worked as a Head of the Municipal Boards Service and Deputy Director of the Central Office of the LDP. As a member of the Central Election Headquarters, she worked on the preparation and implementation of the campaign Od nas zavisi, Život je zakon, Širi dalje, Preokret and Vreme je.
Since 2017, she has also been leading the BIT Technology Education Center.
Mijat Damjanović was born on October 15th 1941 in Belgrade. All of his academic titles he acquired at the University of Belgrade: Bachelor of Law in 1964, Master of Science in 1971 and PhD in Political Sciences in 1975. He started his professional career at the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, Centre for Public Opinion Research (1965-1975). From 1975 to 2005, he was employed at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade, where in 1987 he obtained the highest academic rank – Full Professor. In two terms he worked as Head of the Department for Political Sciences, and from 2002 to 2004 he was Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences. Since 2006, he has been working at the Faculty for Public Administration of MEGATREND University, with honorary title of Professor Emeritus. The main areas of academic interest are focused on Governance, Public Administration, Corporative Management, Organization and Management, Public Policy, Regional and Local Self-Government issues. Teaching activities are carried out at faculties and research institutes in former Yugoslavia, Hungary, UK, US, USSR, Tanzania. This sort of engagement, also, was performed in domestic and foreign think tanks, NGO’s and in alternative academic network. He is creator and coordinator of the NGO Magna Agenda, PALGO center and NALED. He received many recognitions for academic contribution, and the most important are Ordre des Palmes academiques (Order of Academic Palms), Ministry of Education, France, special recognition from Florida’s Governor for improving academic cooperation between USA and Yugoslavia, Order of the silver wreath.
Anđelka Mihajlov is a University Professor, Environmental Consultant, Promoter and Scientist. By education she is chemical engineer, with PhD in Technical Sciences. She has more than 300 scientific references and teaches at universities worldwide. Currently, she works as a professor of Environment, Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. She was the first dean of the Faculty of Environmental Governance and Corporate Sustainability at EDUCONS University. Member of the National Committee for cooperation with UNESCO, Chair of MAB and Climate Change sub-Committee and member of Committee for Environment and Sustainable Development of Serbian Chamber of Commerce. She is engaged in supporting EU environmental acquis in new EU Member States and candidate countries, especially in the following areas: waste management, horizontal environment EC legislation, climate change, IPPC and MEAs. As the Minister for The Protection of Natural Resources and Environment in the Government of Serbia, from 2001 to 2004 she had a prominent role in implementing the Reform Agenda of Serbia in the Environment Sector. In 2006 she received an acknowledgement form UNEP as a Woman Environmental Leader of the Western Balkans.
Born in 1982 in Belgrade. Graduated and received his PhD title on the History Department at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade. Author of several scientific papers published in domestic and foreign magazines, proceedings from international and domestic conferences, and one monography. Additionally, he was a member of organizational and preparational boards of scientific conferences held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Since 2013, he had been acting as a secretary of the magazine Acta Historiae Medicinae, Stomatologiae, Pharmaciae, Medicinae Veterinariae. From 2013 to 2017, participated in two international COST activities: IS1301 – New
Communities of Interpretation: Context, Strategies and Processes of Religious Transformation in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe and TU1203 – Crime Prevention Through Urban Design and Planning. Professional development abroad in 2014/15 in Austria as OeAD scholarship holder, and 2017, in Germany, as DAAD scholarship holder.
He is born in 1938 in Niksic. Graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade in 1961. 1965. he completed his PhD at the Faculty of Political Sciences, where he worked as a professor of Political Sociology.
He works as a lawyer since 1974. During his long career he worked on numerous political cases including trial against Zemun clan for assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, where he represented the family of murdered Prime Minister. In the process for a murder of a journalist Slavko Curuvija, he is representative of Jovo Curuvija, the brother of the murdered.
Rajko Danilovic is the author of numerous publications, including the book about political trials in Yugoslavia “Use of the enemy”.
Haris Dajch graduated and completed his Masters in the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Department for History. He acquired a Master’s Degree in Central and South East European Studies at the SSEES Faculty (UCL, UK) in 2010. He started doctoral studies in history at the faculty he graduated from in 2010, and since then he has been involved in teaching and scientific activities. He was elected Assistant Professor in January 2013. From January 2013, he has been a member of the program committee of the international academic consortium IMESS, which gathers the most significant continental European Universities (Prague, Krakow, Helsinki, Moscow, Budapest) and UCL. He has been the Secretary of the Project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia Modernization of West Balkans from 2010. He took part in several scientific conferences (Helsinki, Zagreb, San Diego, Prizren, Belgrade) and has published several papers in foreign and domestic science magazines. He is a member and one of the founders of the Scientific Society for History of Health Culture and New Balkans Institute. He has been involved in sports as a player and official from 1998. He is the founder and President of the Cricket Federation of Serbia. He was one of the founders of the Greek National Counsel in Serbia in 2004, as well as a member of the New Demokratie since 2004 in charge of the diaspora in Central and South Serbia. He is a member of the Jewish Community of Belgrade and winner of an award for his work in the Belgrade Synagogues.
Born in 1974 in Belgrade. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, earned MBA degree from the Cotrugli Business School in Belgrade. One of the founders and leaders of movement OTPOR! (RESISTANCE!). This initially student’s later people’s movement, founded in 1998 and aimed at the overthrow of Slobodan Milošević, get known worldwide as a symbol of non-violent struggle against repressive regimes. Andrić was creative director of campaigns “HE’S FINISHED! “ (GOTOV JE!) and “Get out to vote – IT’S TIME” (Izađi da glasaš – VREME JE). Andrić is politically engaged from 1996, when he becomes a member of Civic Alliance of Serbia (GSS). He was Spokesman of this party (2000 – 2004), and it’s Vice president (2004 – 2007). After merging of Civic Alliance of Serbia and Liberal Democratic Party in 2007, he becomes member of LDP Presidency and Political Council. From 2011 to 2014 he was Vice president of Liberal Democratic Party. Andrić was MP in National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 4 convocations. From 2000 to 2003 he was DOS MP and President of the Culture and Information Committee. From 2007 to 2014 he was MP of the Liberal Democratic Party. In 2013 he was elected President of the EU – Serbia Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee. Currently he is running agency for market research and public opinion polling TRUST Market Research.
David Weindorfer is an EU legislation and international law expert. In 2000 he began working at the Slovenian Ministry of Interior as a Senior Adviser at the Internal Administrative Affairs Directorate. In 2001 he became advisor at the Minster’s Office. He worked on preparation of Slovenian legal acts in line with the EC legislation in the field of Schengen acquis. From 2004 to date he has been working for the Government of the Republic of Slovenia as Assistant to the Director of the Government Office for Legislation, Section for international Law and European Affairs.
Graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, and was awarded Summa cum laude for her BA thesis titled “Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its Foreseen Changes”. She is in her second year at the PhD Law Study Programme at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana. In 2013 she was granted a scholarship from the European Commission for a PhD exchange programme – 10 months mobility period at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) at the University of Sarajevo (Mobility Programme Erasmus Mundus Basileus 4). She is also a member of the Commission on PhD Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana.
Rođena 1977. godine u Beogradu. Diplomirala 2005. godine na Pravnom fakultetu Univeziteta u Beogradu, na smeru Privredno pravo. Godine 2012. završava Diplomatsku akademiju Ministarstva spoljnih poslova Republike Srbije. 2018. godine stekla je sertifikat College of Europe u Brižu za upravljanje procesom pregovoranja, sa posebnim osvrtom na pregovore sa evropskim institucijama.
Poslednjih godina angažovana je na poslovima zastupanja interesa privrede i njenog uključivanja u konsultativni proces za izradu propisa, kao i na poslovima unapređenja privrednog ambijenta. Učestvovala je u radu radnih grupa za izradu propisa i strateških dokumenata kao što su politika zaštite konkurencije, borba protiv korupcije. Učestvuje u radu pregovaračkih grupa za pristupanje Srbije EU, slobodno kretanje roba I politika konkurencije.Bila je angažovana na izveštavanju o sprovođenju obaveza iz Strategije za borbu protiv korupcije i Akcionog plana u periodu 2013-2018. godine.
Bila je projekt menadžer za Srbiju u implementaciji projekta koji je finansirala EU “Antikorupcijski alati za mala i srednja preduzeća”. Učestvovala je u izradi antikorupcijskih publikacije i upitnika. Bila je jedan od ekperata na izradi Studije za Srbiju o upućivanju radnika na privremeni rad u zemlje EU.
Graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana. In 1998 he obtained his master’s degree at the same faculty and in 2007 his PhD degree, as well. During his career he had worked for many different companies (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gorenjska bank in the sector for international cooperation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in the sector for international cooperation, Merkur d.d. as a commercial director for the Croatian market, since 2007 Chairman of the Board of the Directors at Jelovica, board member at Chromos and director at HG Helios). He is also teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics on courses on International marketing, International management and others. He also teaches at the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka.
In 1995 graduated in Journalism and Spanish Language from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana. From 2001 she has been a presenter and co-presenter of many media projects. In 2005 she was a co-presenter of a travel TV series of BBC World News »Fast track«. From 2007 to 2012 she worked as a writer and presenter of EUTRINKI, a TV series about EU policies and their impact on our daily lives. 2012-2013 she was senior expert for TV programmes in Kosovo. She worked as a mentor and co-writer of »Rolling to Brussels«, a documentary film about good practices regarding Kosovo in the EU. She was also a mentor and co-writer of » EKOSOVO«, the first ecological TV series for TV Kosovo. In 2013 she was the author of interesting portraits of Members of the European Parliament for daily news show »VOTE AND DEVOTE« on TV Slovenia. Currently she works as an editor and writer of TV series »ČEZ PLANKE« infotainment programme presenting countries and regions of the world on TV Slovenia.
Graduated chemistry and specialized toxicological chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Belgrade (2001). Has more than 20 years of relevant work experience in the area of environment protection.
Started his professional career in the laboratory of the Institute for Public Health in Kraljevo (1995-2003) as the manager of the general toxicology department. He was engaged by the Ministry for Environmental Protection (2003-2010) at tasks related to environment protection monitoring, industrial pollution, waste management, air and water protection. From 2010 to 2012, as Assistant Minister, he was in charge of project management, EU integration processes, international cooperation and climate change. Since 2013 he acts as a Director of Dvoper d.o.o. where he implements different projects with his team in the area of waste management, industrial pollution, environment impact assessment, climate change, etc.
He has been cooperating with the Public Policy Institute since 2014 on different projects in Serbia and Montenegro.

Received his PhD title at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade in 2015 by defending the dissertation titled New Paradigm of Cooperation in Libraries. He is the librarian of the Public Policy Institute, advisor at the University Library Svetozar Marković, member of the Board of Directors of the European Association of Academic Libraries LIBER, Director of Srbijamarka and Vice-President of the Adligat association. He is the author of more than 60 reviewed scientific papers that are quoted in over one hundred publications, including the ones ranked in WoS and Scopus data bases. He contributed to the successful implementation of more than ten projects of national significance in the area of digitalization of cultural heritage and improvement of IT systems of libraries in the Republic of Serbia supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as several international projects financed by the European Union and philanthropic organizations from USA and Great Britain. Held a number of lectures in thirteen European countries, and organized more than one hundred special events in Serbia in the area of culture and science promotion with many domestic and international experts and researchers. In 2020 he was one of the founders of the Library of the Public Policy Institute, which he is managing to this day.
Graduated at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, majoring at International Affairs, while he is currently completing his Master studies from the area of Project Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade. Has 10 years of work experience in the civil sector in the area of improvement of status of persons with disabilities, human rights and social inclusion. She is an employee of the association Youth with Disabilities Forum, at the position of the project manager. Participated in creating and managing of more than 40 projects, domestic and the ones organized under the auspices of the EU and other international donors. Also, one of the creators of the employment program for persons with disabilities within the Youth with Disabilities Forum (support to employers and persons with disabilities in the employment process: advisory services, employment candidate base, training and workshops). Has 9 years of experience in direct cooperation with employers in the process of employing persons with disabilities. She is the co-creator and the manager of the Inclusive Academy program (project of socially responsible business of the Youth with Disabilities Forum and Societe Generale bank Serbia (2011-2017) for empowering persons with disabilities on the labor market). Additionally, she participated in the development and implementation of the innovative program for work practice for youth with disabilities implemented by the Youth with Disabilities Forum. Born in 1967. Completed basic, Master and Doctoral studies for social work at the Faculty of Political Sciences. Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, at the Department for Social Work and Social Policy. In April 1998, Miroslav Brkić was elected for a President of the Association of Social Workers of Belgrade, becoming the youngest President of the association in its history. He occupied the position of the President until April 2001. He is very active in activities of NGOs dealing with the protection and support of marginalized social groups. President of the Board of Directors and one of the members of Social- Charity organization Our Serbia, that, since 2000, provides material and psycho-social support to vulnerable groups of children and the youth.

Since 2007, he is a member and since 2013, President of the Board for Accreditation of Training Program for Social Services Providers. Miroslav Brkić is the representative of the Social Policy and Social Work Department in the work of International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and member of the Eastern European Sub-regional Association operating within IASSW. Miroslav Brkić is the Editor in Chief of the renewed magazine Social Policy that was issued by the Institute for Social Policy from 1951 to 1992, and is now issued by the Institute for Political Studies. He is the author of the accredited training program for the improvement of professional competences in the system of social security in the Republic of Serbia. Participated in many domestic and international congresses, as well as scientific and research and applicative projects. Published a number of scientific papers.

Born in 1971. At the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade he acquired the diploma of the medical doctor, followed by specialization from the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Since 2014 he acquired the title of the Doctor of Medical Sciences. Docent at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, at the Department for Social Work and Social Policy. Has an extensive experience in working on a number of projects, as well as different positions in institutions and companies. Occupied the position of the advisor to the Director of the Health Insurance Fund in Serbia, and Montenegro. He also advised the Minister and State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia. He was a member of the task force at the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, member of the Board of Directors of Pharmacy Belgrade, and acted as a consultant on different projects.
Graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. In 2012 she obtained her master’s degree at the same faculty, the topic of her master’s thesis being »The role of work –life balance in women's career«. Since 2008 she has been working as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Department for Management and Organization. She was a visiting lecturer on courses on Management, Marketing communications and Management of non-profit organizations. Her research field involves “the woman question”, equal pay, rights of women at work and role of work–life balance for both sexes. She also writes articles about her research field for a Slovenian economic daily newspaper “Finance”. She is a member of the Slovenian Human Resource Society in Ljubljana.
Correspondent, journalist, reporter and editor for many years. He began his journalism career in Mladina, and quickly moved to YUTEL as a reporter and editor for Slovenia. He was also engaged in EU Media Project Radio Brod. From 1995 to 2002 he worked as a correspondent for RTV Slovenia from Macedonia, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and later from Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. After returning to Slovenia, he took over the position of editor of the entertainment program on TV Slovenia, and continued his career as editor of the Multimedia Centre of RTV Slovenia. Since 2012 he has been working as a correspondent for RTV Slovenia from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Gordana Lazarević graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. She developed herself professionally at various seminars organized by the World Bank, Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Korean Agency for International Cooperation, Czech Agency for the Promotion of Investments, Marshall Centre, UNCTAD, etc. She gained scholarship to spend some time in the office of CEO of Dutch constituency in the World Bank. She worked as the deputy Minister in the Ministry of Finance in the period 2001-2010. She managed the Sector for Development Assistance and EU Funds and was responsible for the coordination of the work of line ministries and other public institutions in the preparation of programmes and projects which would be financed from foreign donor funds. Being the head of the Department for Cooperation with Multilateral and Regional Financial Organizations at the Federal Ministry for Finance, she was the member of Negotiating Team of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia for negotiations with creditors from Paris and London club, World Bank, EIB and for recovery of relations with EBRD. She worked in the cabinet of Vice Prime Minister of the federal government, and started her career at the Institute for Industry Economy. Today, she is working as individual consultant for various fields in the country and abroad (research, project evaluation, financial and business consulting, organizational and advisory support to civil society organizations, various trainings…).
Rođena je 1975. godine u Beogradu. Diplomirala je 2003. godine na studijskoj grupi za pedagogiju Filozofskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu. Završila je specijalističke studije u oblasti evropskih integracija 2003. godine, koje je pod pokroviteljstvom Pakta za stabilnost jugoistočne Evrope finansirala Republika Nemačka i stekla diplomu EU Trenera. Poseduje diplomu o završenoj Diplomatskoj akademiji pri Ministarstvu spoljnih poslova Republike Srbije. Uspešno je završila specijalističku obuku o upravljanju EU projektima i programima 2011. godine koju je finansirala Kraljevina Holandija. Nakon što je Srbija dobila pristup EU fondovima i programa učestvovala je u implementaciji projekta finansiranih iz: CARDS programa (unapređenje usluga za privredu); IPA programa (za oblast podizanja konkurentnosti privrede i unapređenja politike konkurencije); Programa za konkurentnost i inovativnost – CIP (projekat Evropska mreža preduzetništva za poslovno povezivanje i transfer tehnologija). Pored toga sarađivala je sa partnerskim organizacijama GIZ i evropskim privrednim komorama na sprovođenju bilateralnih projekta u vezi sa izvorima finansiranja za privredu i poslovanjem na zajedničkom tržištu EU.
Bila je angažovana kao ekspert od strane Evropske Trening Fondacije, specijalizovane agencije EU u sprovođenju reformi srednjeg stručnog obrazovanja u Srbiji, politike upravljanja HR i definisanja novih veština potrebnih tržištu rada. Tri godine upravljala je implementacijom dva infastrukturna programa koji su finansirani iz: EU i donatorskih sredstava „Regionalni program stambenog zbrinjavanja izbeglica“; i kreditnih linija Evropske investicione banke i Banke za razvoj Saveta Evrope „Program modernizacije naučne infrastrukture, istraživanje i razvoj u javnom sektoru“. Trenutno je angažovana na poslovima zastupanja interesa privrede pred državnim organima u unapređenju privrednih propisa.
Autor je studija „Analiza potreba privrede za znanjima i veštinama“, „Reforma srednjeg stručnog obrazovanja u Srbiji“ i „Upućivanje radnika na rad u zemlje EU“. Govori engleski jezik, a poseduje i osnovo znanje italijanskog i grčkog jezika. Udata je, majka dvoje dece.
Graduated in 1985 from the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Sociology and Journalism, University of Ljubljana. In 1997 obtained his master’s degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He has substantial professional experience in managing both national and international complex programmes of development, especially in areas such as good governance, rule of law, civil society and social development. For more than 20 years he has been working at the Ministry of Interior of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. For the first couple of years he worked as head of the Operative Unit. 1997 - 2001 he was Deputy Head of the Department for European Affairs and International Cooperation, 1998 -2004 undersecretary Deputy Head of the Department for European Affairs and International Cooperation. He served as a national coordinator of the EU Project »Enfopol 118: »European Curriculum for police training in Central and Eastern European Countries« coordinated by AECP, representative of Slovenia in EU Working Group on Terrorism and national coordinator of the EU project on migrations and asylum policy coordinated by BAFI – Germany.
Prof. Nada Kovačević, PhD, was born in 1947 in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 1971. Prof. Dr Nada Kovačević is a specialist in internal medicine, sub-specialist in gastroenterology and ultrasound sub-specialist, Master and Doctor of medical science. She spent her working life at the clinics of Serbian Clinical Centre, except for the first two years when she worked as a general practitioner in Kruševac Medical Centre. Since 1982, when she became a teaching assistant at the Department for Internal Medicine, until her retirement (1/10/2012), she worked at the Faculty of Medicine, where she became full professor in 1999, following the attainment of all academic ranks. Since 1980, besides her clinical engagement, she dealt with abdominal ultrasonography on a daily basis. She is considered to be one of the founders and leading experts in the field of abdominal ultrasound diagnostics at the territory of Former Yugoslavia and Serbia. She was the head of the Department for Internal Medicine for more than 11 years, as the only woman holding this position ever since the foundation of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. She has published around 300 professional and scientific papers and she was co-author of 18 textbooks and monographs. From 2001 to 2005 (two mandates), she was the President of Gastroenterological Section of Serbian Doctor’s Society (first woman to perform this function).
Graduated in 2000 from the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor. Since 2002 she has been working as a Legal linguistics expert at the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Office for Legislation, Division for Public Finance and Economic System. Her basic responsibility is to consider draft laws and other acts in the field of transport that the government submits to the National Assembly, as well as acts that the National Assembly submits to the Government in order to obtain its opinion. From 2002 to 2004, as a legal linguistics expert, she was preparing an authentic Slovenian version of the secondary legislation (regulations, directives, decisions and other acts that constitute the remainder of the acquis communautaire), mostly in the field of Finances, Company law and Competition law. She was also working as active participant in the notification procedure of EU directives and in considering the appropriateness of national implementing measures.
Walter Schwimmer was born in 1942. He is a former politician and diplomat form Austria. Walter Schwimmer was a member of the Austrian Parliament for 28 years, leader of his political group Austrian People’s Party and from September 1, 1999 to September 1, 2004 he was elected Secretary General of the Council of Europe. Since the end of his mandate in Council of Europe he is a free-lance consultant on international relations and European Affairs. He received many national and foreign awards and honors: Austria: Grand Decoration of Honour in Gold with Sash for Service to the Republic of Austria, France: Chevalier of the French Legion of Honour, Mexico: Order of the Aztec Eagle, Romania: Grand Cross of the Order of the Star of Romania. Walter Schwimmer published several publications. His “Der Traum Europa” is translated in four languages.

B. Guy Peters is Maurice Falk Professor of Government at the University of Pittsburgh, and also Distinguished Professor of Comparative Governance at Zeppelin University, Germany. He holds a PhD from Michigan State University and honorary doctorates from three European universities. He is currently co-editor of the European Political Science Review and was founding co-editor of Governance, as well as several book series on public administration.
Professor Peters has written or edited over seventy books in the fields of governance, public administration and public policy. His most recent books are Pursuing Horizontal Management, Research Strategies in Comparative Politics, and the Politics of Representative Bureaucracy (with Patrick von Maravic and Eckhard Schroeter). He has also served as a consultant on public administration for international organizations and for several national governments.
Mário David was born in 1953, in Luanda, Angola. He finished Faculty of Medicine in Lisbon in 1977. Mário David is a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in the VII Legislature (2009-2014), elected by the Portuguese Social Democrat Party (PSD, EPP member). He is also the Vice President of the European People's Party (EPP), elected recently for his third term, where he is the Co-Chair of the Foreign Affairs Working Group.
With the victory of the Social Democrat Party on the elections of 2002, Prime Minister Durão Barroso invites Mário David to be his Political Advisor, covering mainly European Affairs. From May to July 2004, he assumes a crucial role in the nomination of Durão Barroso as President of the European Commission in 2005. While coordinating the Office of Transition of the new Barroso Commission, he is invited by the Prime Minister Santana Lopes to be State Secretary for European Affairs, during the XVI Constitutional Government. His entrance into office was on 23rd July 2004.
Not only politics are a part of Mário’s life. He was also the Vice President of the Tennis Portuguese Federation and member of Sporting Club of Portugal Advisory Council.
Carlos Flores Juberías (Valencia, 1964) is a professor of Comparative Constitutional Law and Director of the Doctoral Studies Program in Constitutional Law at the University of Valencia Law School, where he graduated in 1987 and got his JD in 1993, with Extraordinary Annual Awards in both cases. In 2011 he was awarded a honoris causa doctorate from the San Francisco Xavier University in Sucre, Bolivia, and in 2013 he became accredited as Chair of Constitutional Law. In 2015 he was appointed as Professor Honoris Causa by University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje (Macedonia).
His scholarly publications have been focused mainly on the comparative study of elections and electoral systems, the formation of party systems, constitution making processes, and European integration in the new democracies of Central and Eastern Europe.
Dr. Lenard J. Cohen is Emeritus Professor at the School for International Studies, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, British Columbia. Philippe Douste-Blazy is United Nations Special Advisor on innovative financing for development, with the rank of Under-Secretary-General. He is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost experts on innovative financing to reach the Millennium Development Goals. He serves as Special Advisor to the High-Level Taskforce on Innovative International Financing for Health Systems. In 2006, he was elected President of UNITAID, a multilateral South-North organization and a global health partnership established under the auspices of the United Nations to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria among the world’s most vulnerable populations. Douste-Blazy has held several ministerial positions in his native France, including Minister of Health, Minister of Culture and Communication, Minister for Solidarity, Health and Family and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Prior to embracing policy initiatives, Douste-Blazy was a practicing cardiologist and Professor of Public Health at Toulouse University in France.
Jan-Erik Lane was born in 1946. He is social scientist and received his Ph.D. in 1973 at Umeå University, with thesis “Action and System: Some studies in Political Theory”. Jan-Erik Lane has taught politics and economics at many universities around the world. He has been member of many editorial boards of political and social science journals. He has published some 300 books and articles. In 1996 (and 2009) he received the Humboldt Award by the Humboldt Stiftung, receiving also a Lady Davis Fellowship at the Hebrew University in 2006 and also 2012, as well as honorary medals from Kairo University and the University of Qatar. He has been full professor in 3 universities and visiting professor at many more.
Jeffrey D. Straussman is a professor at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, department of political science. Straussman received his bachelor's from Hofstra University, a master's in political science from Hunter College, and his doctorate in political science from the Graduate School and University Center, City University of New York. In 1992, he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, where he taught public management and policy analysis and assisted Hungarian faculty in the development of a public affairs department. Straussman has taught and consulted internationally on subjects including managing for performance, leadership, public budgeting, and public affairs education, and has spent considerable time in developing and transitional countries. Straussman has published widely in the areas of public finance and budgeting and administrative reform in transitional countries. His work appears in a variety of professional journals such as Public Budgeting and Finance, Administration and Society, Public Administration and Development, and Public Administration Review. His books include The Limits of Technocratic Politics (Transaction Publishers, 1978), Public Management Strategies (Jossey-Bass Inc., Publishers, 1990) and Public Administration, 2nd edition (Longman Publishers Group, 1990). His interest in the political economy of transition has produced several publications including articles translated into Hungarian, Russian and Ukrainian.
Born in 1989 in Belgrade. Completed XV Belgrade Grammar School, and then graduated at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade at the Serbian Language and Literature Department. Also, she is a holder of the PR diploma from a business school which is a special area of expertise within public relations agencies. She underwent practical education in the ICT net cluster, in the IT sector, where she worked on PR activities of the cluster. During her studies she began working on different jobs through a youth collective where she gained different experiences. Additionally, while working for different companies, she developed and expanded her area of interest and skills, including communication skills, PR, event management, human resource management and digital marketing. Since 2017 she has been engaged by the Public Policy Institute, where she worked on a number of projects.
Born in 1988 in Vršac. Graduated at the political science major of the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade. She completed her Master studies on the same faculty on the module Public administration, local government and public policies. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade. She is an author of several articles and papers. She has been receiving a scholarship from the Ministry of Education Science and Technological Development for many years, as well as Konrad Adenauer Foundation. She has several years of experience working in the civil sector, envisaging and coordinating projects, creating and running advocacy campaigns, research in the area of public policies, gender equality and gender budgeting, local government and working with the youth. She is one of the founders of the Group for Analysis and Creation of Public Policies (GACPP) where she worked as a program coordinator and project manager. Additionally, she gained significant experience as an educator and lecturer. During the years, she created a number of political educational programs and seminars.
Born in 1993 in Podgorica, Montenegro. Graduated in 2016 on the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro, with Political Science as a major. Completed Master studies on the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade in 2018, module Political Analytics and Social Changes, acquiring the title MA Political Scientist.

Born in 1997 in Smederevo. Graduated in 2021 at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, where she majored in International Affairs. One of the founders of the youth organization Center for Creating Policies and Strategies that is active in the areas of environment, sustainable development, security and other areas. She acquired her first experience through engagement on different projects of NGOs and student organizations, that included organization of different events and conferences, research, etc. Through education programs organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy she worked with the youth, educating them on topics such as democracy, rule of law, activism and voting.
She complemented her work experience while on studies through engagement on projects dealing with the analysis of Serbian foreign and security policy and Euro-Atlantic integrations of Serbia.
Born in 1997 in Smederevo. Graduated in 2020 at the Information Technology School in Belgrade, Computer Multimedia major, by submitting a paper titled Creating Educational Publication for Children of Interactive Character, thus acquiring the title of professional IT engineer in the area of computer multimedia. She gained her work experience on the position of the graphical and web designer in a telecommunications and security systems company form Belgrade and graphical design sites, and through individual jobs related to graphical design. Her professional interests are focused on print media,
online marketing, video production and interactive publications, producing the basis for her final paper. During her studies, at the video production course, she produced a short movie named Happiness inspired by the story with the same name from the storybook Unusual Stories by David Albahari. During her studies, she had practical training in the Comtrade company, which entailed the Development of Online Brand. She attended the Kampster course Java Basics. She participated in the workshop First Step to Successful Career Coca Cola HBC at the Belgrade Youth Fair 2019 organized by EKOF Media Group. She also participated in the workshop Introduction to IT: Introduction to Wordpress within Youth of

Born in 1996 in Belgrade. Completed basic studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts and is currently on post-graduate studies, majoring at Book Graphics. He is the winner of the Bogdan Kršić prize for the most successful piece from the course Book Graphics. Participated at the exhibition Upstream/Downstream in 2019. During the basic studies he worked as a graphical designer at the BITE Design studio. Independently developing graphical solutions and visual identities for seven years.
Born in 2001 in Belgrade. She attended the Staatliche Wilhelm-Hausenstein-Gymnasium in Munich, Germany. During her penultimate year of high school education (2019) she attended practical training at the General Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Munich. Currently, she is a student at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade and member of the student organization SEFA, where she participates in events such as REPSUS Conference – Regional Economic Student Conference.
Born in 1996 in Belgrade. She completed the studies on Business Economy at the Management Faculty. Currently she is attending Master studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, at the Management Department. During her studies, she participated at corporate events and conferences as part of the Protocol Team.
In her spare time, she is committed to educating children through sport and culture, as well as charity work and helping children without parental care. She is a member of the Belgrade Dance Center, which is founder and the organizer of the largest dance competition in the region.
Born in 1997 in Belgrade. In 2016 completed Grammar School in Stara Pazova. Currently he is a grad student at the Criminology – Police University in Zemun, majoring in Criminology.
